Development Director
This position reports to the Executive Director. Major responsibilities include:
- Create and manage all aspects of annual development plan
- Determine fundraising strategies for community, corporate and civic groups
- Identify new donors through research, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship activities
- Grant writing
- Coordination of special events including annual golf tournament and gala event
- Membership development
- Identify and implement new CRM database system to track prospects, donors, members, volunteers and ticket purchasers
- Write effective publication materials including proposals, event invitations, acknowledgement letters, sponsorship packages, annual appeals and external recognition pieces
